Young Support Workers work with young people daily and provide the support, advice, and guidance needed by them to succeed in their personal and professional lives. These workers support the young people and address various issues like – emotional and behavioral issues, drug and alcohol addiction, personal and social issues, and social exclusion. Other duties further include – helping young people to develop plans that will bring a positive change in the person’s lives, promoting safe and healthy behavior; creating and maintaining relationships with a variety of people, and providing them with an inclusive environment.
