While actual duties vary from project to project, the following are certain core tasks seen on the Archaeological Technician Resume – conducting surveys; handling excavation tasks; artifact identification and collection; handling mapping duties, collecting soil samples from the sites; taking photographs of the field; and collecting information using GPS and GIS technologies.
