The Courtesy Officer takes charge of providing a safe and orderly community and conducts periodical on-site patrons. The other duties are listed on the Courtesy Officer Resume as follows – interacting with residents and ensuring they are provided a safe and orderly community; patrolling the outside storage areas, laundry areas, and pools; responding to minor disturbances and emergency calls; submitting written reports, listing property occurrences and property safety issues that need immediate addressing; checking and replacing light bulbs, parking hazards, broken irrigation heads; recommending maintenance repairs; and monitoring disturbances.
The nature of the job demands the following skills – prior work experience in patrolling area; strong observation skills; solid judgment skills, working knowledge of federal, state and city laws pertaining to the area of working; the ability to maintain positive relations with the general public; and knowledge of multiple languages.
