A Milker is hired to work at the milking operation facility to produce high-quality products and to promote animal well-being. Certain core duties performed on daily basis are listed on the Milker Resume as – bringing cows from pen to the milking parlor, checking pens and starting the milking system, milk cooling, and washing and feeding systems; attaching machine after checking hygiene, removing cups from cows following SOP; preparing and applying teat disinfectant for usage; overseeing the movement of the cows in the dairy; preparing the dairy in readiness for the nest milking; identifying and correcting machine operational issues; and identifying cows with clinical mastitis, illness or lameness.
