A Residential Treatment Worker performs the following duties mentioned on the Residential Treatment Worker Resume – providing direct nursing care to patients, assisting escorting patients to activities of the ward as needed, including meals, medical appointments, recreation, and other activities within the institution, performing specialized duties as assigned by the shift supervisor and other duties assigned; assisting in a variety of practical tasks essential for the operation of the unit, performing essential safety functions, observing the patient wards, monitoring the tone and milieu of each area, assisting in maintaining a calm and therapeutic environment, and working with the nursing/staff development department to schedule and teach hospital-wide training.
