A Training Advisor is responsible for preparing, executing, and evaluating employee education programs. Duties listed on the Training Advisor Resume are – conducting skills gap analyses, mapping out long-term training plans for internal teams, preparing educational material, selecting educational methods, scheduling methods, like on-the-job coaching, conferences, workshops, and e-learning courses, assessing the impact of training on employee performance, gathering feedback from trainees and trainers after each session, preparing cost reports for each learning program, and updating curriculum database and training records.
To be successful in this role, one should have experience with various training methods, including e-learning and coaching; and be able to keep trainees engaged with interactive sessions, like outdoor activities and role-playing exercises. Other skills include familiarity with LMS, and knowledge of talent management and succession planning.
