A Trash Truck Driver is responsible for operating the truck that collects garbage from various residential and commercial locations and to dispose of them safely in the allotted destination. The day-to-day activities associated to this role are listed on the Trash Truck Driver Resume as follows – emptying dumpsters, maintaining pick-up records, reporting repair requirements, identifying malfunctions; performing truck cleaning, storing trucks and equipment safely; checking the unloading of the truck; and periodically checking the truck after every trip.
